Whether you inspire students, offer essential administrative support, or provide valuable services, the work you do matters, which is why you need to be your best – both on and off the clock. That is why we offer SmartHealth.
Use SmartHealth to pursue your purpose. Your purpose is what motivates and inspires you to be your best every day. It is what is most important to you.
We call it "What's your why?"
Your why can be something big or small, such as family, career, music, pets, or community. Your why can change over time. You can even have more than one, but it always supports your beliefs and values. Have fun exploring what matters to you.
Generally, subscribers and their spouse or state-registered domestic partner enrolled in SEBB medical coverage can participate in SmartHealth.
Only subscribers enrolled in SEBB medical coverage can qualify for the SmartHealth wellness incentive.
Are you waiving medical coverage? You can still access SmartHealth, but you won't be eligible for the SmartHealth wellness incentive unless you earned the incentive and enroll in a SEBB medical plan as a subscriber in 2021.
The most meaningful incentive might be the chance to discover your why, pursue your purpose, and be your best.
SmartHealth also offers a $125 wellness incentive. To get your $125, you must be enrolled in SEBB medical coverage as a subscriber in 2021.
How you receive your $125 depends on the type of medical plan you enroll in:
- High-deductible health plans: A one-time deposit of $125 into the subscriber's health savings account (HSA) in January 2021.
- All other plans: A $125 reduction to the subscriber's SEBB medical plan deductible in January 2021.
Follow the steps below to qualify for the $125 wellness incentive.
- Visit SmartHealth.
- Complete the SmartHealth Well-being Assessment. This steps only takes 15 minutes and earns 800 points.
- Join and track activities to earn at least 2,000 points by the deadlines noted below.
Note: If you are unable to complete a wellness incentive requirement, contact Limeade (SmartHealth administrator) at 1-855-750-8866. They will work with you to provide an alternative requirement that will allow you to qualify for the wellness incentive or waive the requirement. See SEBB Program Administrative Policy 91-1 and SmartHealth wellness program reasonable alternative standard FAQs.
Your $125 deadline depends on your medical effective date. Use the table below to find your deadline.
|Deadline for $125 wellness incentive|
|New SEBB medical subscriber with a medical effective date in January through September 2020||November 30, 2020|
|New SEBB medical subscriber with a medical effective date in October through December 2020||December 31, 2020|
If you took your Well-being Assessment during the SEBB Program's first annual open enrollment, starting in February you can find your $50 by signing into SmartHealth and joining the "How do I find my $50 wellness incentive?" activity. You can also contact your SEBB medical plan.
