Description: HCA previously filed notice under WSR# 24-18-011 of the intent to submit Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 24-0013 to add adult chiropractic services,  acupuncturists, and Certified Behavioral Health Support Specialists (BHSS) as Medicaid providers. As a result of a recent Office of Financial Management (OFM) directive, HCA is pausing implementation of coverage for adult chiropractic and acupuncture services planned for January 1, 2025. SPA 24-0013 will now address only the addition of Certified Behavioral Health Support Specialists (BHSS) as Medicaid providers effective January 1, 2025.
