HCA launches new storytelling website

Over 2.7 million Washingtonians are at the heart of the work we do at the Health Care Authority (HCA). Every year, through free or low-cost health care, behavioral health services, and benefits for public and school employees and retirees, HCA’s programs change lives.

To celebrate those lives, we’ve created HCA Connections, where Washingtonians share their experiences with Apple Health (Medicaid), PEBB, SEBB, and behavioral health. You’ll also find articles on HCA’s health equity efforts and timely updates about client and member benefits.

The top of the HCA Connections homepage showing five rows of content: a hamburger menu, then logo in the upper left, followed by a carousel image and callout for retiree engagement, followed by three “Showcase” story tiles, and ending with a link centered on the page to See all posts

The site has regular columns such as Voices (client and member stories), our HCA Connect blog (what we’re up to), and the Health Equity Spotlight (HCA’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging [DEIB] efforts). Plus newsletters, such as PEBB For Your Benefit and SEBB Intercom. Articles are also arranged by topics—to make it easy for you to find the stories that interest you.

Starting May 15, and every day thereafter, help us celebrate the health successes of those we serve.
