Notice: Physician Assistant and SBIRT Provider Updates Medicaid State Plan Amendment 24-0035 Supplemental Public Notice is now available online.

Description: HCA previously filed notice under WSR# 24-18-012 of the intent to submit Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 24-0035 to remove the requirement for PAs to be supervised by a physician when providing such services and allow certain practitioners as providers of Screening, Brief Interventions, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) services. In addition, SPA 24-0035 will add Certified Behavioral Health Support Specialists as Collaborative Care providers.
