Description: HCA intends to submit Medicaid State Plan Amendment 22-0035 to remove from allowable costs the costs associated with treatment by eligible Ground Emergency Medical Transportation (GEMT) providers when that treatment does not result in transportation to a hospital emergency room. This change is a result of communications from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
